Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lakeland trounces Ashland
February 21, 2023: Minocqua, WI 54548 The Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) basketball crushed the visiting Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), 68-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Indians go into the Great Northern test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Mosinee walloped Brillion (Brillion, WI), 54-53, in a non-league test.
The Oredockers now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they host Cameron for a Heart O'North test on Thursday, February 23. Ashland will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 81-23 league win over Spooner (Spooner, WI). The Comets record now stands at 19-5.
