Michigan High School Basketball - Inter-City Baptist tops Detroit Country Day
February 21, 2023: Beverly Hills, MI 48025 Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI), 63-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Inter-City Baptist upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Huron (New Boston, MI) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 6-11.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 23. Detroit Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 57-55 league loss to Redford Union (Redford, MI).
