Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), 75-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hurricane upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Redskins host University (Morgantown, WV) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 13-8. University won 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against Musselman (Inwood, WV)

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) in a Coalfield AA bout, on Thursday, February 23. Nicholas County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to South Charleston (South Charleston, WV).
