February 21, 2023: Torrance, CA 90505 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), saw South's volleyball squad beat Bishop Montgomery by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, South upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) to play the Sea Kings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Sea Kings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to El Segundo for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. Bishop Montgomery will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
