Michigan High School Basketball - Dowagiac edges Lakeshore
February 21, 2023: Dowagiac, MI 49047 The Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 36-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chieftains (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Niles (Niles, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 0-19 record. In their last test, Niles was tipped by Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI), 77-14, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan - West test on Thursday, February 23. Lakeshore will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 54-39 non-league loss to Plainwell (Plainwell, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 4-16.
