Georgia High School Lacrosse - Woodward Academy drops to St. Pius X Catholic
February 21, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30345 St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA), 13-9 in a non-league battle.
The Golden Lions now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Paulding for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 23. St. Pius X Catholic will clash with a Wolfpack squad coming off a 19-0 league win over North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 3-0.
In their next game, the War Eagles clash with the Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 23. Woodward Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).
