Michigan High School Basketball - Ubly nips Bad Axe
February 21, 2024: Ubly, MI 48475 Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), 63-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ubly upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Bearcats host Reese (Reese, MI) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Reese won 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against All Saints Central (Bay City, MI)
Next up, the Hatchets play the Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Bad Axe will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 76-30 league win over Farwell (Farwell, MI).
