Ohio High School Basketball - North Union overwhelms Elgin
February 21, 2024: Marion, OH 43302 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) and the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), saw North Union's basketball squad wallop Elgin by a tally of 79-55.
With the victory, North Union improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-16. Mt. Gilead lost 67-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Galion (Galion, OH)
Next up, the Comets confront the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) in a Northwest Central challenge, on Friday, February 23. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 41-35 non-league win over Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH).
