The Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) basketball nipped the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), 58-56 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Steelmen (19-11) will now prepare for their test against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks go into the non-league test with a 28-4 record. In their last test, Marist got by Thornwood (South Holland, IL), 78-58, in a non-league test.
