The Cherokee Chiefs topped the visiting Toms River North Mariners basketball team by a final score of 44-28 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Chiefs face the Shawnee Renegades (Medford, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 26. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 19-7 season record. The Renegades enter the game with a 16-10 record after their 55-54 non-league win over Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ).
