Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeland can't hold off Seaholm
February 21, 2024: White Lake, MI 48383 The Seaholm Maples basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Lakeland Eagles to 32 in the Maples non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Maples now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harper Woods for a Oakland - White contest on Friday, February 23. Seaholm will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 49-43 league loss to Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-11.
The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors enter the Lakes Valley contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Walled Lake Western nudged Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI), 36-25, in a league contest.
