February 21, 2024: Marrero, LA 70072 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA) and the host John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA), saw Bourgeois's softball squad achieve victory over John Ehret by a count of 13-0.
The Braves now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Ascension for a non-league match on Friday, February 23. Bourgeois will face a Spartans squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, John Ehret falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Thursday, February 22.
