Georgia High School Baseball - Brunswick holds off Roswell
February 21, 2025: Brunswick, GA 31520 The Brunswick Pirates baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Roswell Hornets to 5 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.
The Pirates now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Atkinson County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Brunswick will play a Rebels team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Roswell drops to 4-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Lions go into the test with a record of 3-2. Peachtree Ridge lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)
