February 21, 2025: Carrollton, GA 30116 In Friday's non-league bout, the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) baseball squad edged the visiting Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), by a tally of 9-8.
Next up, the Lions encounter the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a 4A Area 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 25. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 14-5 non-league loss to Heritage (Conyers, GA).
The War Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Red Elephants enter the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Gainesville was nudged by Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 15-1, in a non-league bout.
