With the triumph, Gilmer moves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Pickens (Jasper, GA) to confront the Dragons in a non-league contest on Monday, February 24. The Dragons come into the contest with a record of 6-0. Pickens won 13-1 in their recent non-league contest against Alexander (Douglasville, GA)

The Mountaineers now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pepperell for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 22.
