Texas High School Baseball - Permian holds off West Plains
February 21, 2025: Amarillo, TX 79119 The Permian Panthers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host West Plains Wolves to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.
The Panthers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lubbock-Cooper for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Permian will play a Pirates team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over West Plains (Amarillo, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, West Plains drops to 1-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to play the Troopers in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Troopers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Eastwood lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX)
