In Friday's league contest, the host Central City Bison basketball team scored a good 69-55 triumph over the Lakeview Vikings.

The Bison (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Longhorns go into the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Chase County was topped by Gering (Gering, NE), 48-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 24. Lakeview will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 48-47 league loss to Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE).
