Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE), 61-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lutheran-Northeast upgrades its record to 13-9 on the year.

The Jaguars now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Bluffs for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. Howells-Dodge will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-46 non-league loss to Winside (Winside, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-17.
