In Friday's non-league test, the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) basketball squad defeated the visiting University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), by a score of 59-51.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 24. Lutheran North will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Phoenix come into the test with a 12-9 record after their 51-43 league loss to Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI).

The Knights (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Michigan Collegiate (Warren, MI). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Michigan Collegiate went down by Old Redford Academy (Detroit, MI), 81-45, in a non-league test.
