The McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) basketball were winner over the visiting Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH), 75-65 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kirtland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. McDonald will play a Hornets team coming off a 69-37 non-league win over Rittman (Rittman, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Mapleton falls to 12-10 on the campaign.
