The South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI), 53-12 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they host Walled Lake Western for a Lakes Valley bout on Tuesday, February 25. South Lyon will play a Warriors team coming off a 54-34 league loss to Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 3-18.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 5-16 on the campaign.
