Georgia High School Soccer - Dawson County knocks off Union County
February 21, 2025: Dawsonville, GA 30534 The Dawson County Tigers soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Union County Panthers to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Atlanta Christian for a 3A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, February 25. Dawson County will play a Spartans squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Union County moves to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 7 bout on Friday, February 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. North Cobb Christian lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Walker (Marietta, GA)
