February 21, 2025: Amarillo, TX 79107 Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX), 27-11 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Tulia upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 8-1. Littlefield won 15-7 in their recent non-league game against Canyon (Canyon, TX)
The Dons now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lubbock-Cooper for a game on Tuesday, February 25. Palo Duro will play a Pirates squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 5-2.
