The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Catholic Bears (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA), saw Catholic's baseball team gain a win over Archbishop Shaw by a tally of 15-3.

The Bears (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Slidell beat Reeltown (Notasulga, AL), 11-0, in a non-league contest.
