The McAllen Bulldogs baseball squad (McAllen, TX), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX)

With the triumph, Calallen moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Weslaco (Weslaco, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 21. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Weslaco won 8-5 in their recent non-league battle against Holmes (San Antonio, TX)

Next, the Bulldogs face the Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 battle, on Monday, February 23. McAllen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rattlers enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Roma (Roma, TX).
