The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX), observed Ray's baseball squad nip Laredo LBJ by a final score of 3-2.

With the triumph, Ray moves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Texans host Alice (Alice, TX) to confront the Coyotes in a 5A Region IV District 29 contest on Monday, February 23. The Coyotes come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Alice lost 5-1 in their recent non-league battle against Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX)
