The Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) softball nipped the visiting Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cobras (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks go into the 3A Region IV District 25 bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Palacios tipped Wharton (Wharton, TX), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
