In Saturday's non-league match, the host Elkhart Elks softball squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Cushing Bearkats.

With the triumph, Elkhart upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Elks travel to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 21. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-6. Chapel Hill lost 19-0 in their recent non-league game against Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX)
