The Willis Wildkats the host Dayton Broncos softball team by a margin of 5-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Wildkats now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, February 24. Willis will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Klein Oak (Spring, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Dayton moves to 7-5 on the season. The Broncos host Aldine (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 21. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 2-8. Aldine lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against College Station (College Station, TX)
