In Saturday's non-league match, the host Helena Huskies softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the Northside Rams.

The Huskies (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Thompson nipped Moody (Moody, AL), 10-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 24. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
