Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Smithson Valley improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Rangers host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, February 24. The Mules enter the game with a record of 5-7.
