Georgia High School Soccer - Clarkston knocks off Cedar Grove
February 22, 2022: Clarkston, GA 30021 Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Angoras confront the Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 25. Clarkston will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
The Saints now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arabia Mountain for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25. Cedar Grove will confront a Rams team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.
