Georgia High School Lacrosse - Westminster held off by Centennial
February 22, 2022: Roswell, GA 30076 Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), 10-9 in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lambert for a non-league battle on Friday, February 25. Centennial will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-0.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) in a 1A-5A Area 2 battle, on Saturday, February 26. Westminster will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The War Eagles come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA).
