February 22, 2022: Savannah, GA 31404 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) and the host Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA), saw Long County's soccer squad triumph over Calvary Day by a margin of 7-0.
The Blue Tide now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Brantley County for a AAA Region 1 test on Friday, February 25. Long County will meet a Herons squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Herons record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Calvary Day moves to 2-2 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to New Hampstead (Savannah, GA) to battle the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 24. The Phoenix enter the bout with a record of 0-9. New Hampstead lost 10-0 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA)
