Mississippi High School Softball - Wayne County can't hold off Clarkdale
February 22, 2022: Meridian, MS 39301 The Clarkdale Bulldogs softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Wayne County War Eagles to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Clarkdale moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Thursday, February 24. The Knights come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the War Eagles clash with the Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 25. Wayne County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Newton County (Decatur, MS).
