In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Pioneer Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Milpitas Trojans.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 24. Pioneer will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA).
