In Thursday's non-league game, the host San Marin Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks go into the Marin County game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Tamalpais tipped Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
