Kentucky High School Basketball - Pendleton County trounces Dayton
February 22, 2024: Falmouth, KY 41040 The Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), 88-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (14-16) will now prepare for their test against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Bluejackets go into the District 38 test with a 17-13 record. In their last test, Nicholas County walloped Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 67-52, in a non-league test.
The Greendevils now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue for a District 36 test on Monday, February 26. Dayton will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 80-62 non-league win over Holmes (Covington, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 18-12.
