February 22, 2024: Iron Mountain, MI 49801 Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI), 80-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Iron Mountain upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Tournament Team (, ) to play the in a non-league bout on Monday, February 26. The go into the bout with a record of 4-22. Tournament Team lost 85-81 in their recent non-league bout against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)
Next up, the Gremlins play the Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 26. Houghton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 49-45 league win over Escanaba (Escanaba, MI).
