February 22, 2024: Dixon, KY 42409 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) and the visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY), saw Webster County's basketball squad overcome Madisonville-North Hopkins by a tally of 70-61.
With the victory, Webster County improves its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Union County (Morganfield, KY) to confront the Braves in a District 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 12-15. Union County lost 56-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY)
Next up, the Maroons confront the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) in a District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Madisonville-North Hopkins will attempt to improve on its 14-16 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 81-71 non-league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY).
