Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), 63-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 22-2. Lancaster won 64-49 in their recent non-league bout against Westmoreland (Montross, VA)
