Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Peter overwhelms St. James
February 22, 2024: St. James, MN 56081 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) and the host St. James Saints (St. James, MN), saw St. Peter's basketball squad wallop St. James by a count of 94-51.
With the victory, St. Peter upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Saints host Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Jackson County Central won 88-79 in their recent non-league challenge against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)
Next up, the Saints play the Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) in a AA Section 3 challenge, on Saturday, February 24. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 5-23 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 12-13 record after their 62-54 non-league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN).
