Oklahoma High School Basketball - Muldrow holds off Verdigris
February 22, 2024: Muldrow, OK 74948 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Muldrow Bulldogs (Muldrow, OK) and the visiting Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK), saw Muldrow's basketball squad hold off Verdigris by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Muldrow improves its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 21-4. Fort Gibson won 73-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) in a Verdigris Valley challenge, on Friday, February 23. Verdigris will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 51-25 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, OK).
