February 22, 2024: Owenton, KY 40359 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) and the visiting Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), saw Owen County's basketball squad overcome Western Hills by a tally of 65-53.
With the victory, Owen County improves its record to 13-14 on the campaign.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 23. Western Hills will attempt to improve on its 10-18 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 57-14 non-league win over Atherton (Louisville, KY).
