O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Smithson Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. O'Connor will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 7-2.
