Mississippi High School Baseball - Briarfield Academy prevails Porter's Chapel Academy
February 22, 2025: Vicksburg, MS 39180 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Briarfield Academy Rebels (Lake Providence, LA) and the host Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles (Vicksburg, MS), saw Briarfield Academy's baseball team gain a win over Porter's Chapel Academy by a tally of 10-1.
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Riverfield Academy was overwhelmed by Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS), 10-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Adams County Christian Rebels (Natchez, MS) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 17. Porter's Chapel Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
