Texas High School Baseball - Childress loses to Shallowater
February 22, 2025: Shallowater, TX 79363 Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX), 10-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Shallowater advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Estacado (Lubbock, TX) to battle the Matadors in a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. The Matadors come into the match with a record of 2-2. Estacado lost 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Randall (Amarillo, TX)
The Bobcats now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lubbock Christian for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Childress will face a Eagles team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Dalhart (Dalhart, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
