Texas High School Softball - Wylie edges Royse City
February 22, 2025: Wylie, TX 75098 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) and the visiting Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX), observed Wylie's softball team get by Royse City by a tally of 10-8.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders go into the 6A Region II District 9 bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, North Garland by Lindsay (Lindsay, TX), 12-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 22. Royse City will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 14-4 league win over Trinity (Euless, TX).
