Michigan High School Basketball - Kingsley tops Manistee
February 23, 2022: Manistee, MI 49660 Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI), 47-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kingsley upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Stags host Leland (Leland, MI) to play the Comets in a Northwest bout on Friday, February 25. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Leland lost 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI)
Next up, the Chippewas play the Orchard View Cardinals (Muskegon, MI) in a Lakes 8 bout, on Friday, February 25. Manistee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 69-18 league loss to Western Michigan Christian (Muskegon, MI).
