In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), by a margin of 59-54.

The Knights (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Rapids go into the non-league outing with a 20-2 record. In their last outing, James River Midlothian held off Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA), 40-24, in a non-league outing.
